Open House
Entry on the half hour from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
Reservations are required. They can be made online or by calling 412-321-2400 starting August 1st.
Maximum group size is six.
Open house is held once a year and it differs from the tour in that more of the building is open. Instead of having a tour guide, you follow a designated tour path around the building. Two of the three main telescopes are outfitted for visual use. Observing with the 24" PlaneWave Telescope will be demonstrated. The plate room will be open to visit.
