Open House
Thank you to everyone who attended this year. Information for Fall 2024 will be available summer of 2024.
Entry on the half hour from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
Reservations required. Call 412-321-2400 starting August 1st.
Maximum group size is six.
Open house is held once a year and it differs from the tour in that more of the building is open. Instead of having a tour guide, you follow a designated tour path around the building. Two of the three main telescopes are outfitted for visual use and the members of the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh will set up other telescopes around the building. Observing with the 24" PlaneWave Telescope will be demonstrated.
