MoonTree Celebration

Allegheny Observatory and Riverview Park are so proud to announce that we will be custodians of a MoonTree. NASA flew seeds around the Moon and back on Earth this lovely Sweet Gum sprouted. It will soon be planted near the observatory.
 

We will celebrate the MoonTree on Oct. 6 right after Riverview Park Community Days. There will be activities around the observatory for everyone and activities in the observatory for those with timed reservations. You can reserve your spots now. Eventbrite

October 27th. For Kindergarten - 5th grade. Find space themed activities all around the observatory. Costumes welcome. There will be one scary hallway that you can avoid.  Registration required at Eventbrite
